About us

Meet the young family
We’re Kim and Greg, two Maine natives who, like so many others during a global pandemic, decided to buy a camper and explore all that our beautiful state has to offer. We are weekend warriors trying to instill in our 4-year old son Owen a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors.
Greg has owned and operated an entertainment company since he was 14-years old. Eleven years ago, he decided to make his passion his full-time job and hasn’t looked back. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Greg was on the road doing events every weekend from the beginning of March until late November.
Kim has worked remotely since before it was cool for a CRO firm based on the other side of the country. Though she is grateful for the ability to work from home, it can definitely be a bit isolating. Add state-mandated quarantine on top of that and every single day begins to feel the same.
TIME FOR A CHANGE
In the Summer of 2020, Greg finally had weekends off and Kim just needed to get out of the house, so we decided to buy a used camper – a 2012 Wildwood travel trailer, which Owen affectionately referred to as our “Cool Camper”. We had a great time learning the ropes of RV life and sharing so many great moments with Owen and our pup Denon.
2020 threw us some pretty nasty curveballs and 2021 hasn’t been any different. In early March, we learned that Kim has a rare form of cancer called Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma (or EHE). So, we’re re-evaluating our lives yet again and placing an emphasis on what is most important: family.
In 2021 we’ve sold the old 2012 Wildwood and have upgraded to a 2021 East to West Alta. We invite you to join us as we live, laugh and learn about all of the things we’re doing wrong with this whole RV thing.
